For 2011, recruitment to clinical radiology specialty training posts in England and Wales was nationally co-ordinated through the London Deanery in conjunction with the Royal College of Radiologists. Recruitment for Northern Ireland and Scotland was conducted separately.
The process was a great success with 177 of the 183 available posts filled.

Clinical Radiology 2012 Round 1 Recruitment
In 2012 the London Deanery will be leading the National Recruitment process for Radiology. Applications to Radiology are made through the London Deanery. All applications can be accessed through their online portal.
The proposed recruitment dates for 2012 are as follows:
National interviews completed: 30th January - 3rd February 2012
Offer Process is now completed
- All posts have been filled, London Deanery will pass trainee details to the KSS Deanery by 11th May 2012
- KSS Deanery will allocate applicants to trust, unit and confirm the start date which is 1st August 2012 by 17th May 2012
