The Dental team operates as part of the NHS to enhance the quality of healthcare, by continually improving the management and provision of supportive, quality assured, education and development of doctors and dentists and, where appropriate, the wider workforce.

Message from the Dean

Welcome to Dental Education in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery – a part of the South East Coast Strategic Health Authority (SHA).

The purpose of our activity is to assist with improving the Oral Health Care of people living in the region by commissioning and delivering targeted lifelong learning with Core Courses, Postgraduate Centre led courses, and special courses tailored for the dental team.
